ROVI 1 Year Anniversary Wrap Up | The First Metaverse Companion Project
Congratulations RoviFam, on this day, it has been exactly 1 year since the beginning of the ROVI Invasion 🤖 🍻 🤖
We feel so incredibly honored to have gone through this journey with our beloved community by our side along the entire way. The passion and support we’ve received since the beginning has been nothing short of a life supply. Without you all, ROVI progress would grind to a halt. We’re on a collective mission to change the metaverse landscape for the better, and it is because of this, that we must take this time to recognize the tremendous efforts taken to realize the ROVI vision and to celebrate the achieved progress toward that goal. This is just the beginning as we knew from the beginning, that developing any project of significance in the metaverse is a multi-year commitment. Luckily we’ve assembled the greatest community of pioneers who align with our mission making the path to success a truly enjoyable experience that we will carry with us for a lifetime.

We will be breaking down the history and background of the ROVI Project during the 1-hour LIVE call. For most of you, this will be a nostalgia trip to remember. For those who are newer to the community and especially if this will be your first exposure to ROVI, you won’t want to miss this talk with the 3 founders discussing the ROVI origins and the objectives that lay ahead. For now, as a teaser, let's break down the most important milestones achieved since the launch of Rovies on August 19th, 2021.
THE FIRST ROVI SALE 🎂
We initiated the launch of Rovies during the height of PFP mania taking over the NFT spaces interest. With this mania in mind, we decided to participate and bring a metaverse spin to the utility application of PFP NFTs that we had yet to see.
We did this by including assets of the game in the packaging of a Rovi itself in the form of 2 METAs, the Transporter and Supercharger. This meant purchasing a Rovi granted the Operator 3 NFTs all deployable in the metaverse, HUGE DEAL if you were early enough to secure one.
UNLEASH THE ROVIES 💥
With Rovi Transporters in the hands of the first class of Operators, the Rovi Unboxing could begin!
Unbox your Transporter to unveil one of the 5 classes of Supercharger within (A,B,C,D,and E). From there, open the Supercharger and experience the ROVI Unleash 🤖
DISTRIBUTE AND DEPLOY THE FIRST METAS 🔮
We then enabled the deployment of Transporters and Superchargers in Decentraland through MetaZone’s Metafication 🧠 technology. The first METAs were now being hosted in the metaverse, marking the beginnings of the distributed ROVI economy.
DIGITIZE THE FIRST ROVIES 🪄
With METAs in place, it was time to bring in the Rovies! To do this required the recruitment of the Oracle Operators. This was the core community we needed full cooperation from to initiate the proper testing protocols to enable added functionality to the Rovi ecosystem through the release of additional METAs.
First up, was the Hologram META, designed to bring life to the Roviverse and allow the digitization of Rovies in Decentraland for the first time 🤯
COMMUNITY COMES TO LIFE 🧬
With Rovies now viewable in Decentraland, the Operator community began venturing throughout the metaverse, interacting with dispersed Hologram locations across the land to finally meet and interact with their beloved metaverse companions 😍
BRING IN THE LUBE 💧
With the first METAs deployed in Decentraland and the first class of Operators actively digitizing their Rovies, the timing to introduce the first elements of the ROVI economy was perfect!
Spectate-to-Earn was born through the release of LUBE earnings upon digitization at Hologram META locations. This created the initial value flows within the Rovi ecosystem and marked the beginnings of the Distributed Play-and-Earn economy.
RELEASE THE DELEGATES 👨🏻💻
With the foundational METAs in place along with LUBE earnings in full swing, the pieces were in place to release $GRZ token claiming and to initiate the onboarding of a new class of Operators.
Rovi owners could now leverage the newly released rovi.ai dashboard to assign delegates and managers to operate the Rovi on the owner's behalf. With this critical feature release, the delegate player economy could begin, expanding the Rovi ecosystem to magnificent new heights!
CLOSE THE LOOPS 🔄
With Delegate Operators grinding in Decentraland daily, LUBE earnings were emitting and being automatically split among all ecosystem actors across the ROVI ecosystem, fulfilling the Distributed P2E vision that the ROVI Project is pioneering.
At this stage, the focus is to close these ecosystem loops by introducing $GRZ sinks to those acquiring the token through participation.
We proudly introduced the Fabricator META into the ROVI Economy, bringing Rovi accessory NFT minting to the community through the spending of $GRZ tokens in the crafting process enabled through Fabrication.
We also introduced the META leveling systems to increase the utility and value of Hologram METAs to those spending their earned $GRZ tokens on upgrades.
THE GLITCHES ARE COMING 😱 👾 👾 👾
Now on the horizon is perhaps the most exciting addition to the Roviverse…the Glitch ecosystem is on the verge of release, which will propel the delegate player economy to a whole new stratosphere!
This is where we reside today in ROVI progression. We are finalizing the 5 pure Glitch designs which in the end will combine through the same MetaGen Engine used to generate all unique Rovies. This will generate a very large population of unique Glitch variants for delegates to purchase and own with $GRZ.
These Glitches will eventually become the enemy units on the ROVI PvE Battlefield. If you own a Glitch, you will be able to delegate it to the PvE ecosystem and earn LUBE rewards if your Glitch is to defeat a Rovi in combat. This gives the delegates tremendous potential to expand their $GRZ yields beyond just operating a Rovi on the behalf of an owner, ultimately increasing their vertical trajectory toward a higher tranche of participation within the ROVI economy.
