Greetings Rovi Fam! Another crazy week is in the books and we have tons of updates to share with the community. As usual we hosted our weekly discord community call on Thursday where we discussed these updates LIVE. If you missed it check it out below.

ROVI Reinforcer Drop
During the call Corv deployed the Reinforcer airdrop to Oracles. We were super pumped to see the distribution of the first ROVI Smart METAs into the hands of the community. This is the start of a 7 part META drop series to qualifying Oracles. We also released an article explaining the purpose and function Reinforcers will have in the ecosystem. Check it out here
We also took a community photo in front of the first deployed Reinforcer in Decentraland!
Hologram Snapshot
We announced that our next snapshot for the next META drop release will go down on Thursday March 24, 12am UTC. If you meet the Oracle qualifications by then you will receive Hologram META distribution and all subsequent META drops to come after.
Rovi Wearable
We updated the community with an error on our behalf that has delayed the delivery of the first ROVI wearable. We were unaware of a design flaw from our design that needed alteration in order to be accepted by the Decentraland wearable committee for production. We have since contacted our artist to correct this problem and are on track again. We apologize for this delay, we want to see every Rovi Operator with their Rovi Pack asap!
Payment Split Contracts
As we continue to develop Rovies, certain platform updates and features need to be implimented in order to support the game verse. Given that Rovies will be a community hosted play to earn game, all the content that has in-app purchasing will need the capability of allocating earnings to the different parties involved in the hosting of the content.
We’ve been working on this update for a while now since it will have implications for the entire META ecosystem and not just Rovies. Now that it is completed, development on the remaining METAs that are needed to support the Rovi game will speed up. We will be recording a podcast episode soon on our YouTube channel to break down this development achievement in more detail, so keep your eyes peeled on the channel.
MetaMarks
Our last discussion was revolved around another development in the works called the MetaMark. This is a unique addition to the MetaZone ecosystem that spins up an NFT to any creator who submits META collections to the platform. The purpose behind this is to easily facilitate IP transfer of creations. With the ownership of a MetaMark NFT comes the allocation of revenue split generated when the META sells and when in-app purchases occur.
As you can imagine this means the MetaMark holds tremendous value within the MZ ecosystem and will help the platform recognize who the rightful owners of META activity are, thus giving them the control to transfer that value to another party if one is interested in acquiring the rights to own that activity and all revenue streams associated with it.
We’re really excited to explore more ways to leverage the MetaMarks utility and see more control of creator rights in the hands of our platform users. Below is an example of what a MetaMark will look like using Corv’s first META ever created called The Block Runner.
This coming up week our development focus will be on ensuring everything is in order for the Hologram drop and to continue development of all ROVI METAs. We hope to be able to showcase soon the power of the Holograms by bringing Rovies into Decentraland for the first time!

Rovi is a PFP project of 10,101 unique battle bots that are playable in the metaverse running on the Polygon network. Each bot comes from MetaZone that has built a procedurally generated engine to make each bot random and unique. Rovies can battle each other to earn tokens in Decentraland and also play in the Polygon powered RoviMatrix! MetaZone is a platform that has enabled any creator to make their own 10,000 procedurally generated 3D NFT characters right from the platform and all characters will exist on the Polygon network
